2 Tbsp Ghee
1/2 Tbsp Mustard Seeds
10 No Curry leaves
1 Tsp Bengal gram (roasted Chana dal)
1 Medium onion (chopped)
1/4 Cup Peas
1/4 Cup carrot (chopped)
1/2 Cup tomato puree
1/2 Tsp salt
1/2 Cup Rava
1/2 Cup water
Handful Coriander leaves (chopped)
Directions
- In a kadai, heat oil / ghee. Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add Chana dal and urad dal.
- Followed by green chillies and onion. Sauté till onions are translucent.
- Add fresh peas, carrot(if using) and chopped coriander leaves. Cover and cook till veggies are cooked 80%.
- Add tomato purée and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add rava and mix well.
- Wash off the mixie jar with water and pour it to the rava mix along with salt.
- Mix, cover and cook till the water is absorbed. Switch off the flame and let it remain undisturbed for another 5 minutes.
