Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Ghee

  • 1/2 Tbsp Mustard Seeds

  • 10 No Curry leaves

  • 1 Tsp Bengal gram (roasted Chana dal)

  • 1 Medium onion (chopped)

  • 1/4 Cup Peas

  • 1/4 Cup carrot (chopped)

  • 1/2 Cup tomato puree

  • 1/2 Tsp salt

  • 1/2 Cup Rava

  • 1/2 Cup water

  • Handful Coriander leaves (chopped)

Directions

  • In a kadai, heat oil / ghee. Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add Chana dal and urad dal.
  •  Followed by green chillies and onion. Sauté till onions are translucent.
  • Add fresh peas, carrot(if using) and chopped coriander leaves. Cover and cook till veggies are cooked 80%.
  • Add tomato purée and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add rava and mix well.
  • Wash off the mixie jar with water and pour it to the rava mix along with salt.
  • Mix, cover and cook till the water is absorbed. Switch off the flame and let it remain undisturbed for another 5 minutes.
