This healthy sugarfree dragon milkshake is perfect for your post workout, mid-day snack cravings or a quick breakfast for your kids.
Dragon fruit is a fruit of a cactus variety. It tastes like a Kiwi or a Pear and also called as ’Pitaya’. It is commonly found in two varieties with white flesh and purple-pink flesh with an outer spiky pink covering. You can cut it in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh same like you do with Avocado. Another way is to cut both the ends, then cut lengthwise and peel off the skin.
It is best eaten raw, however you can try different recipes to make smoothies or desserts.
So, lets see how I made this sugarfree milkshake.
Dragon Milkshake – sugarfree
Measurements used:- 1 cup = 250 ml; 1 tbsp = 15 ml; 1 tsp = 5 ml
Serves – 3 persons
Ingredients:
1 no Dragon Fruit
2 cups Milk
1 no robusta banana
8 nos dates, deseended
Instructions:
1. Cut the dragon fruit and scoop out the flesh and add it to the blender.
2. And the remaining ingredients. Make sure the dates are deseeded.
3. Blend it till smooth and serve.
