Oats Masala Pancake Recipe
Oats is a superfood, packed with proteins, low on fat and full of fibre. What could be a better way than to include oats with other seasonal veggies in your breakfast and give an instant boost to your energy level in a busy morning?
I always have a stock of oats. So, if nothing else works, even a quick and easy breakfast with oats makes up a healthy one. Try this masala pancake with your favourite vegetables and let me know how it came out for you.
Note :
- You can even add 1 cup of chopped spinach and grated coconut to it.
How To Make Oats Masala Pancake with step by step photos :
1. Mix all ingredients for the batter together in a bowl. Let this mixture sit for 10 minutes for the oats to absorb water.
2. Heat a griddle. Grease little oil and pour a ladle of batter. Cover and cook till steam comes out.
3. Flip and cook uncovered till both the sides are golden brown.
4. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Oats ground to powder in a mixer
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 1 small Tomato very finely chopped
- 1 no Green chilly deseeded & finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander chopped
- 1 tsp Kasoori methi dry fenugreek leaves
- 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder haldi
- 1 handful Carrot Shredded optional
- 1 nos Egg beaten optional
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1.5 cup Water
Instructions
