Mango Lassi Recipe, How To Make Mango Lassi
Hello friends, hope you all are doing well? I’m so excited to be back to blogging. Happiness, stress and a lot of learning was revolving all these past few weeks and eventually, glad to have my site up and running. Hope you will enjoy browsing through.
Today I am sharing one of the popular summer drink, Lassi. Rather a flavoured one. Yes! mango flavoured yogurt, a delicious and nutritious summer drink, which is enough to fill your tummy when you rarely want to have a full meal. In one of my old post, Pineapple Banana Lassi, I mentioned how a flavoured or fruit lassi is better than a simple Sweet Lassi.
With few ingredients, you can make up a great drink. In this recipe, I have used mango, yogurt / curd and milk. Milk can be replaced with full cream or malai while making for your kids. You can too have, if you are not so health concious. ;). Simply enjoy whatever you like. I don’t want to scare you. hehe. (*Whisper*) Sometimes, I too don’t mind pampering myself.
How To Make Mango Lassi Step By Step:
-
- Wash and peel the skin of mangoes. You can take any good variety of mango. I used alphonso mangoes.
- Deseed and cut into cubes. Add it to mixie.
- Add all the remaining ingredients curd, sugar, milk and cardamom powder. Mangoes could be more or less sweet. Add sugar or honey accordingly.
- Blend well till it becomes a smooth paste. Refrigerate or you can add few ice cubes while blending. I did’nt use and so it was thick in consistency.
- Garnish with chocolate scrapings. Serve chilled.
Tip:Chill all the ingredients before making Mango Lassi. So, you can have it chilled as soon as it is ready, no need to wait. And it’s always best to have fruit juice fresh to get all the nutrients
